From the Dalaga Spring Summer 2013 Lookbook…
On Jenny: Pins & Needlepoint Lace Crop Top, Cathedral Print High Waist Shorts
We couldn’t just introduce a Dalaga look book without introducing our favorite jams too! Just like our Dalaga Soho and Dalaga Greenpoint stores, we selected some of our favorite songs for your listening pleasure while you shop. It’s an all-inclusive Dalaga experience!
Dalaga’s S/S 2013 Look Book
We are so excited to introduce our first look book shot by our newest Dalaga addition, Anna Li, and modeled by our own Lucia and loyal Dalaga fan Miss Jenny Wang. Photographed on location at Michelle’s impeccable apartment, you will also be privy to where Dalaga’s Owner and Creative Director calls home sweet home.
Featuring our new, in-store arrivals and what’s to come from BB Dakota, Huntingbird, Ladakh, Seychelles, and our very own Dalaga jewelry.
Listen to our favorite tracks while you browse and let yourself get inspired for warmer days ahead.

Name: Michelle Mangiliman, Meesh, aka Big Mama
Title: Owner
Tell us a bit about your role at Dalaga: Where do I begin?? I’m mainly in charge of the creative direction of Dalaga. From creating stories for the windows to curating the racks and shoe displays, I’m in charge of your visual experience! I seek out the designers and lines you need in your wardrobe and I design the Dalaga jewelry collection.
How would you describe your style? It’s so hard to say! I feel like my style is always changing. I obviously love everything that Dalaga carries, but my staples are red lipstick, a denim top, black jeans, and black Seychelles leather booties.

Must-have item at Dalaga right now? All of our creamy white crochet and embroidered tanks.
Favorite independent designer at Dalaga? Can’t answer this one. I love them all!
Where can we find you when you’re not at Dalaga? Playing boutique with my 4 year old girl or having drinks at a local “kid-friendly” bar.
Do you have a style icon that you look to for sartorial inspiration? I don’t look to anyone in particular for inspiration. I think style comes from your personality and I appreciate so many different aesthetics. My customers definitely inspire me and I try to inspire them as well.

Go-to neighborhood lunch spot? My fellow Dalaga girls have already mentioned a few of my favorite Greenpoint lunch spots, but to satisfy my mid-day sweet tooth I go to Ovenly. Love their vegan chocolate chip cookie sprinkled with salt on top—Beats any vegan and non-vegan cookie I’ve ever tasted! I’m addicted.
Grey Dog has been my go-to spot in SoHo. Their Chicken & Hearts of Palm Salad is amazing.
I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing…. Toe shoes. Google it.
